La proposta progettuale \u00e8 stata quella di realizzare un nuovo ampliamento a ridosso dell\u2019edificio esistente, trasformando l\u2019intero scantinato&nbsp; in piano abitabile ed aggiungendo un piccolo patio di circa 12 mq di fronte al giardino dove \u00e8 stato necessario scavare circa due metri in profondit\u00e0 dello scantinato per arrivare alla nuova quota del piano. Il progetto architettonico \u00e8 stata sviluppata in contrasto con l&#8217;architettura esistente, attraverso l\u2019utilizzo del colore e la forma estremamente lineare e di impatto. Internamente la scala \u00e8 stata spostata laterale al corridoio di ingresso, per poter dare al nuovo piano seminterrato il soggiorno cucina di dimensioni pi\u00f9 generosa possibile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Colney Hatch Lane Project in the Barnet council, north side of London is a typical Victorian terraced house.&nbsp; The parts of the building requiring intervention are the Ground floor and the&nbsp; basement&nbsp; including the rear garden portion. The proposed design is a new <\/em><em>extension<\/em> <em>to the existing building, turning the whole basement into habitable floor as well as adding a small patio of 12 sqm beside the garden, <\/em><em>with the necessity<\/em><em> to dig about two meters deep of the&nbsp; basement to get to the new level floor. <\/em><em>The architecture of the extension has been developed to purposefully contrast with the main house architectural period, through the use&nbsp; of the&nbsp; colour <\/em><em>and the extremely simple and linear form<\/em><em>.
